Rearranging and organising one room using the furniture and things already in it. No renovation, no drilling, nothing bought unless you want it.
It takes a day and a room with nobody in it, which is why it usually never happens. This is the one thing on this list I can only do while I am staying in your home.
What you get
One room emptied, sorted and put back: cupboards, shelves, surfaces
Nothing thrown away and nothing bought without asking you first
A list of anything worth buying, with links, inside a budget you set
Photos as I go, and a note of where things are now
How it works
1
You choose the room and the budgetKitchen, entryway, closet, workspace, or one shelf.
2
I sort it and put it backYou see photos at each stage.
3
You come back to itWith a short note on where things are, so it stays that way.
What it costs
$250one room, four to six hours, done while I’m staying
+$150each extra room during the same stay
For comparison: professional organisers charge $75–150 an hour, and one room usually costs $250–840 plus a call-out fee. I am already here, so you pay for the hours only.
I do not hang, drill or assemble anything. If something needs a drill, I leave a diagram with measurements for whoever does it. If you would rather do the room yourself later, I can leave only that — layout, shopping list and diagram — for $120.
